Construction Machinery
PC200i-12 from Komatsu is a next-generation hydraulic excavator equipped with 3D Machine Guidance (3DMG) as a standard feature. It provides real-time bucket position visualization based on design data, allowing for highly precise work even for less experienced operators. This reduces the need for stakes and manual measurements, significantly improving efficiency and reducing labor costs. When integrated with Smart Construction, it supports full-jobsite visualization and centralized management, and can also be upgraded to 3D Machine Control (3DMC) for even greater precision.
Smart Construction
Smart Construction is an advanced construction solution that leverages ICT (Information and Communication Technology), IoT, and AI to dramatically improve the safety, productivity, and efficiency of construction jobsites. It digitizes and optimizes tasks traditionally reliant on experience and intuition, such as jobsite management, surveying, and progress tracking, by using digital data. From autonomous machinery operation and 3D design to cloud-based progress sharing and construction support from remote area, Smart Construction offers a wide range of services. This approach not only addresses labor shortages but also enhances operational efficiency and safety, achieving "Visualization, Connectivity, and Optimization" on construction jobsites.
Smart Construction 3D Machine Guidance transforms conventional construction machinery into ICT-enabled systems, delivering safer, more productive 3D operations. Now, it supports tiltrotators, allowing operators to view real-time bucket angles and rotation in 3D, even on complex terrain. This enables precise control and execution, significantly improving both work flexibility and accuracy. With this upgrade, excavation and grading tasks become more efficient, providing consistent, high-quality results regardless of operator skill level.
Note: Tiltrotator machine control for the PC200i-12 is scheduled for release this fall.
