デザイン３Dを使用して頭の中で描いた仮設道路のイメージを点群上に展開させることにより、複数人でのイメージ共有がスムーズに行える。盛土・切土を色分けして表示してくれるので直感的でわかりやすい。 横断ビューや断面ビューを活用することにより細かな設定が可能なため作りこむこともできる。今後は複数の仮設道路が結合するような仕組みができることを期待したい。

今回工事の仮置き計画のエリアは、起伏が多い現況地形のため、どれくらいの土量が仮置きできるのか、判断が難しい現状があった。Smart Construction Design3Dで簡単に作成した仮置き形状3Dモデルから土量算出を行ったことで、当初の仮置き計画のエリアでは不足することが事前に判明した。施工前に仮置き場エリアの追加を発注者へ提案できたことで、施工開始後に現場が止まってしまう損失を回避できた。
