Track construction machines and dump trucks in real-time
It is very easy to start Smart Construction Fleet. You only need to give 「Workers」「Dump trucks」「Excavators」 a device or a smartphone with the installed mobile app for monitoring.
Traditionally, since it was not possible to understand the project situation in real-time, the only way to know if things were progressing as planned or to prevent potential future rework was to go directly to the jobsite. Smart Construction Fleet allows real-time monitoring of the jobsite by obtaining location information from the vehicles, enabling quick actions to improve productivity.

Smart Construction Fleet features a monitoring camera function that takes pictures at 15-second intervals by installing smartphone in the cockpit of excavators and dump trucks. Pictures can be checked in real-time, and you can download them as timelapse video.
Smart Construction Fleet obtains 「Location information」「Speed」「Direction」 once every 3 seconds and visualize in Web app in real-time. Further more, all of driving histories are archived on a cloud server, allowing deep data analysis.
Preventing speeding and reducing the risk of accidents due to vehicles approaching each other previously depended on manpower, which was very difficult to manage. Smart Construction Fleet shares location of vehicle in real-time to everyone on the jobsite, and alerts vehicle approaching and speeding with automated voice.
Smart Construction Fleet can share location of each vehicle through mobile app installed on smart phone. By accurately understanding each other's positions, the risk of accidents will likely decrease.

Loading weight and rate are collected automatically by connecting to Smart Construction 3D Machine Guidance payload meter. If a search range is set up on an excavator, it recognizes incoming dump trucks and records the work history in real-time.

今回工事は高速道路の出口沿いに仮置き場があった。また仮置き場内が狭いため1台のダンプに積込をしている場合には他のダンプの待機場所がなく、ダンプが連続して入ってきた場合中に入れないため、出口上で待機してしまう可能性があった。そうなると速度を出した一般車が出口に出た際にダンプとの衝突事故のリスクが高まってしまうことを懸念していた。 Fleetによって他のダンプの運行状況が確認できるため、セット場（仮置き場）に入る時間の調整を各運転手が行うことで、ダンプがオフランプ上で滞留することがなくなり、安全性の向上が実現できた。
道路工事で本アプリを使っています。搬出車両のサイクルタイムや、現在位置をリアルタイムで把握することができるので、交通事故や車両の運行ルートの間違い等の対応も即座に行える為、生産性や安全性の向上につながりました。使っていく中でもっとこうしたい、これができれば、と思うことも多くあるので、今後機能を拡充していただければ、よりよいものになると思います。
通常、残土搬出回数の把握や積載管理に加え、追跡調査が上げられ、膨大な土量を管理していく中では、正確性が乏しくなるのに加え手間の加わる内容だが、 Smart Construction Fleetを利用してそれらが大幅に改善された。
現場外でのダンプトラックの管理が難しいことから運行管理のためにこのアプリを導入しました。弊社では、現場事務所の大型モニター画面でリアルタイムに運行管理を実施しています。ダンプ運転手には音声アラート機能による危険予測箇所の案内通知を行うとともに、同時期に運行する他社にもアプリを導入し、渋滞対策として運行ルート変更を行うことで、無駄を省いた安全な運行管理を行いました。今後もこのアプリを活用していきたいと考えています。
ダンプの運行管理のため導入しました。このアプリの管理画面を見ていますと、想像以上にリアルタイムにダンプが地図上を動いており、まるで空から見下ろしてダンプ位置を確認しているような気分になります。また、走行履歴が取れているため、ダンプが予定通り運行したことの記録にもなっています。これから夏を迎えますが、その際にはガードマンや現場に携わる班長などにスマホアプリを持たせ、接近通知のアラート機能を使う予定です。ダンプが近くにいなければ休憩をさせることができ、熱中症対策になると期待しています。
