(President and CEO: Akinori Onodera, hereinafter “EARTHBRAIN”) will change the name of its service “Smart Construction Retrofit”—a solution that enables easy and affordable installation of 3D machine guidance and other ICT functions on conventional construction machinery such as hydraulic excavators and mini excavators—to “Smart Construction 3D Machine Guidance” effective Monday, April 1, 2024.
■ Reason for the Name Change
Previously, the service was named “Smart Construction Retrofit” to highlight its retrofit capability. However, to make the core functionality—3D machine guidance—more immediately recognizable from the name itself, the service name has been updated to “Smart Construction 3D Machine Guidance.”
