Exhibited at the G7 Digital and Tech Ministers’ Meeting “Digital Technology Exhibition” in Takasaki, Gunma

EARTHBRAIN Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Akinori Onodera, hereinafter “EARTHBRAIN”) will exhibit at the “Digital Technology Exhibition,” held concurrently with the G7 Digital and Tech Ministers’ Meeting in Takasaki, Gunma, from Friday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30, 2023, at G Messe Gunma (Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture).

The G7 Digital and Tech Ministers’ Meeting in Takasaki is expected to focus on key digital policy priorities, including the Data Free Flow with Trust (DFFT) initiative※1, the advancement of emerging technologies to enhance online safety and trust, and a human-centric approach to ICT infrastructure and artificial intelligence, including Beyond 5G/6G※2.

The concurrently held “Digital Technology Exhibition” will feature a wide range of leading Japanese companies and organizations known for their advanced technologies. The exhibition will showcase cutting-edge ICT across fields such as telecommunications, robotics, and video, and will also offer hands-on experiences with the latest innovations.

EARTHBRAIN is working to further advance “Smart Construction®,” a business initiative launched by Komatsu in 2015 that connects people and physical elements (such as machinery and soil) at construction sites through ICT. This initiative aims to improve safety and productivity by offering comprehensive services for all construction machinery and vehicles operating on-site.

At the “Digital Technology Exhibition” held alongside the G7 Digital and Tech Ministers’ Meeting in Takasaki, Gunma, EARTHBRAIN will showcase a range of “Smart Construction®” solutions that have been deployed to date, along with a new remote operation solution that integrates spatial ID technology※3 with machine guidance systems.

The exhibit will also highlight the results of a 2022 pilot project involving the use of spatial ID and machine guidance for pipeline installation, as well as introduce the “Landlog Viewer,” a 3D visualization tool that enables the centralized management and easy visualization of diverse data from various construction sites.
